CRATER engaged us as their IT and media partner. This not-for-profit research foundation is dedicated to promoting the benefits of regenerative agriculture and the advancement of scientific knowledge. This partnership has allowed us to do some pretty incredible things, including documentary film-making and press outreach, as well as building their website.
We designed and built the CRATER website, assisting with content creation and creating event pages, newsletter signups, and image galleries. CRATER’s website acts as a platform to host all the foundation’s projects, workshops, news, research, and documentaries. Ultimately the website will act as a central hub for regenerative agriculture research and practices across Australia, and we will scale up the platform as CRATER’s scope grows.
CRATER invited the Clearshot Digital team up to their research base on Goondicum Station in Central QLD to film and produce a nature documentary in collaboration with the University of Queensland.
During our visit we shot a series of interviews and broadcast-quality footage for use across the CRATER website, socials and comms. We had multiple camera operators on the job and also used drones to capture aerial shots of the property.
We then headed back to the big smoke to do some shoots and interviews at UQ, before editing and producing the documentary in our Brisbane agency. Nick’s video production skills from his years as a TV cameraman really came to the fore on this project!
More documentaries are in the pipeline.
We accompanied the website launch with a campaign of press releases, email direct marketing, brochures, and social media posts. Clearshot Digital will manage CRATER’s marketing and social media on an ongoing basis.
Clearshot Digital has delivered a website to help CRATER get its message out into the world, with plenty of scope to scale up in the future. We’ve created an entire digital marketing campaign across the press, EDMs, and social media, and created print brochures for a more traditional touch.
We’ve done the trek to Central QLD to visit the property multiple times, and as a result, we know their brand, their people, and their purpose really well. Our work with CRATER is a really good example of how Clearshot Digital considers ourselves as partners with our clients, not just providing a service.
