Project: Podcast Production & Videography

The Brief:

Brisbane Grammar School approached us to record and produce the first season of their podcast, Light Dark Blue, as well as record video of their school Open Day. The podcast was to be aimed at parents to showcase the innovative learning approach BGS has taken over the last five years, and was to include several voices including students, teachers, and learning consultants. 

What We Delivered:

We worked in close collaboration with the school’s Learning Organisation Team and the marketing department to record a 10-episode season of BGS’ new podcast. 

We sourced a journalist and Grammar School Old Boy from our network to be the podcast host, and recorded some of the episodes at the school with panels of students, while others with teachers and experts were recorded in our podcast recording space in Milton. 

Our content writer assisted with scripting to create a clear narrative structure from the raw podcast recordings, and Nick Robinson, Clearshot’s Director, edited the episodes to result in a professional podcast worthy of one of Australia’s very best schools. 

We also assisted with a short video to promote the podcast, and in separate projects, sent our videography team to the school to record both the BGS Open Day and rugby season launch.

Results:

Recording the Light Dark Blue podcast was a fantastic project to be involved in. This will be the first season of an ongoing Brisbane Grammar School podcast series, and we look forward to recording Season 2!
